Hi, I’m Michael Thiessen!
I’ve mostly focused on frontend development, but I’ve built analytics pipelines in Scala, component libraries, in-browser video editors, and everything in between.
Now I work for myself, teaching others about Vue through my articles and courses.
My weekly newsletter is sent to over 11,000 Vue developers, and I’ve written over a hundred articles for my blog, VueSchool, and other places. My articles have been read by millions, and thousands of Vue developers have leveled up their skills through my independently produced courses.
I also released a hardcover book this summer, which was a lot of fun to put together!
My goal is to help Vue devs like yourself to level up your skills, which is why I’ve partnered with VueSchool and NuxtLabs to bring you Mastering Nuxt 3. Nuxt 3 is an incredible framework, and I can’t wait to help you get the most out of it!
Here are some more random things about me:
- I live in Waterloo (just outside of Toronto) with my wife and dog
- I’ve played classical piano, been in a rock band for many years, and have also produced EDM
- My ideal work day is sitting on my deck listening to EDM (all types of house and sometimes DnB) and drinking way too much tea (Assam with milk is my favourite)
You can find me at michaelnthiessen.com or on Twitter at @MichaelThiessen. Send me an email ([email protected]) or drop me a DM if you want to chat!
I hope you’re getting as stoked for Mastering Nuxt 3 as I am!
If you have already signed-up to get updates on the development of the Mastering Nuxt 3 course, that is awesome! If you haven’t (and you want to qualify for that Early Bird launch discount), then sign up on the Mastering Nuxt 3 page.
