Chapter 5 Summary

In this chapter, you built the back end needed for the chat app.

You learned how to share code between the back end and front end, how to use the repository pattern to isolate the data layer, write server routes for specific HTTP methods, use dynamic routes, and send data to the backend.

You also saw how to use Nuxt’s built-in dev tools to test your server routes, and finally, built server route to generate a title for a chat based on the first message of that chat.
